Why Epoch Ascent?
WE TRAIN FOR OUTSIDE PERFORMANCE.
Our training location is devoid of mirrors, TVs, and similar distractions, but you will see training equipment and space sufficient for the objective. If aesthetics are your goal, then they will come as a consequence of improved fitness and performance, and not otherwise.
WE UTILIZE RESPONSIBLE PROGRAMMING.
In order to get the most out of the training, sessions are built in a way that allows each of our athletes to make constant progress towards their individual objectives and goals. Physical assessments are used to benchmark and measure progress, which allows the programming to be tweaked where necessary to stay on track and to keep things constantly evolving. As an integral part of our training strategy, sessions are planned in a way that is constantly varied, intelligence driven, and challenging. Also, as part of our fulfillment strategy, members are provided with nutritional guidance that works to compliment both their lifestyle and training.
WE PROVIDE ACCURATE AND CONSISTENT FEEDBACK.
A major part of what is here is to make sure that members are not only stronger and faster, but smarter also. By providing constant feedback and education on proper technique, movement efficiency, competitive mindset, fueling for performance, and mobility and recovery techniques members are better prepared to direct the improvement of their overall performance. Sustainable and long-term performance is created by decreasing their potential for injury which is paramount for their life, their sport or their professional careers.
WE TAKE A “NO SOCIAL HOUR” APPROACH.
Epoch Ascent is a fairly basic training facility with all the tools we need. It’s purposely designed this way for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is to sort out the pretenders from those serious about transcending their current state. There is no time to look at yourself in the mirror therefore there are no mirrors. There is no time to stop and watch TV therefore there are no TVs. This also means you won’t find any other such distractions in our training space.
WE LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE.
The training we use is created with the integration of physical performance, psychological, nutrition, and lifestyle factors in mind. This ensures that all modes of exercise support the specific performance needs of each individual member, while added recovery strategies work to increase durability and acceleration of recovery, so they are energized and ready for the next day’s activity. A resilient mind built through mental training is used to keep our members focused and dedicated to reaching their desired objectives, while the management of a positive lifestyle provides the foundational support to maximize gains obtained from the performance training.
